Hey Fall

Hello my crafty friends, I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. If you know me, you know that I love to make cards with the embossed resist technique. And that was my first thought when I saw this super cute “Hey Fall” stamp set. But enough said, let’s jump over to see how I made this cozy card.

To begin, I cut a sheet of heavyweight white cardstock down to a A2 card panel. I then started to stamp all the different little leaves of the “Hey Fall” stamp set with embossing ink. I just keeped a little space to stamp the sentiment also with embossing ink. After everything was stamped I heat embossed with white embossing powder.

Now I used two different green tones (a lighter and a darker one) to ink blend just the part where I stamped all the leaves. I just started with the lightest colour and then used the darkest one over the edges to give it some depth.

Next I cut two stripes from two different green tones (both are 1 inch wide) and adhered them right under the ink blended part.I stamped the bear, squirrel and the pumpkins on a piece of white cardstock. To color all the images I used alcohol markers.

I tried to keep everything in fall colours. I then fussy cut all the images and glued them onto the card panel using some liquid glue. To finish the card, I adhered the finished card onto a piece of dark green cardstock and then onto a white card base.

And that’s it my crafty friends. I really hope you like this card and I can’t wait to see you next week with another project. Thanks so much for stopping by and wish you all a wonderful day and stay safe and healthy.
