Thinking Of You

Hi peeps. Vera here today. I know right now most of us in full swing of making Christmas cards, which what I’ve been doing lately as well. However, for today, I decided to take a break and do a general thinking of you card. After all, in my book you can’t have too many thinking of you cards.

I am pretty darn proud of this card as I am using quite a few of my favorite SugarPea sets on it. To start with, I stencil the brick background directly on the card base using English Bond Brick Wall stencil.

Once that done, I die cut the postage frame using SugarCut Postage Stamp. Then I stamped it with the Handwritten Letter set. Next, I die-cut the book and flower pieces using SugarCut Open Book.

Before putting them together, on the very top layer of the book page, I stamped the Handwritten Letter on the left page and tiny butterfly from Floral Envie with various ink color on the right page. Instead of using color cardstock, I tend to do my die cut from a pice of whit cardstock and then colored them with either Copic marker or ink blending. Put all the pieces together and to make the book page stand out a bit more, I added some foam adhesive between the pages. Lastly, finished by stamping sentiment from Pretty Peonies set.

Almost forgot, I also added enamel dots to the flower. Can’t forget the little details, right? And, yep, I used 6 SugarPea products on this card. I am super duper happy about that as I love it when I get to show many sets the love in one card. 🙂

Well peeps, that’s all from me on this Tuesday. Hope you enjoy today’s card and may your day be a lovely one. Big virtual hugs.
