Sending Christmas Cheer

Hey folks, Kavya here with another fun card to share with you all!

I love stretching my supplies and I always think of other ways to use a stamp set while creating! Today’s inspiration shows you a fun way to create a Christmas card using products released this month. Wendy did an amazing job with designing an adorable home themed stamp sets and dies that are just perfect for creating a holiday card.

I first started off by creating a deep green background by ink blending Black Soot, Pine Needles and Evergreen Bough Distress Oxide Inks. For the land, I ink blended the edges of a white strip using Old Paper Distress Oxide Ink and adhered it the bottom. Then, I splattered some white paint and water to make it look like it’s snowing!

For the houses, I stamped three of them along with some trees and streetlights from the Happy Little Village stamp set. As usual, I added some details using a white gel pen. For the sentiment, I diecut the word ‘home’ out of vellum and white glitter cardstock using the Home Script Word die and heat embossed sentiments from Home is With You stamp set on red cardstock. To tie all of this together with Christmas, I also stamped a sentiment from Here Comes Santa Claus at the bottom.

That’s it folks! I hope you liked this fun card.. I sure had a blast making it!
