Sending You Joy

Hi everyone! Jennifer Timko here with today’s card. I am so happy to be making holiday cards and right now I am all about snowflakes! So I created something that simply celebrates snow and winter today.

I started with the Falling Snow Stencil. Now I love stencils and this one is wonderful! I first ran it through my embossing machine and used it as texture “plate” to emboss the dots. Then, leaving the stencil in place, I inked over the stencil in a variation of blue Distress Inks. This allows me to have both the color and the raised texture.

Next I used the snowflakes from the SugarCut – Snowflake Tag. I inked up some white card stock using the same colors as the dots and cut them out. Since I had the card stock already inked, I used it for the SugarCut – Joy Word too. I kept the back layer for that one white to help the word pop. The rest of the sentiment is from the Flurry of Warm Wishes Stamp Set, another snowflake beauty. I hope you enjoy this holiday card and all the lovely winter products I used.
