You can never have too many hugs

Hey there, SugarPea Designs fans!

Stacey here!  I’m so excited to feature some amazing SPD goodies today!

I needed a bright and cheerful card for my sweet mother-in-law so I grabbed those adorable flower and leaf stamps from the Funky Wreath – Spring Additions stamp set to create a faux watercolored panel.  I simply just stamped the flower and leaves with bright yellow, orange and green ink, then ran a wet paintbrush over each image, muting it slightly.

The Chatterbox Sentiments phrase was stamped over a white snippet of paper, then a “Hugs” Chatterbox Journal Card SugarCuts word was added to complete the greeting.

Did you notice that sunny background paper?! That’s one of the papers from the Whatever the Weather Patterned Paper Collection!  LOVE!  To finish off the card, I added a few sprinkles of our Lily White Sparkly Shaker Collection.

Hi Stacey ~ Sending good thoughts to your M-I-L who, I’m sure, will treasure this beautiful and thoughtful card. Love the way you muted the images to give them a softer watercolored look. Thanks for sharing.
