Sending You Sunshine

Hi peeps! Vera here today to bring you a fun, colorful inspiration from SugarPea Designs.

I came from a tropical country, so needless to say, I kind of partial to tropic theme card. My card today reflect that love. 🙂

I decided to create custom size card, measured 3″ x 5-1/2″. To start, I adhere a strip of stripe patterned paper (from Spots & Stripes Brights Patterned Paper Collection). Then I stamped all the elements from Tropic Like It’ Hot & Let’s Flamingale set. To make it more fun, I used non traditional color.

That’s the fun part of creating, right? Just use your imagination & have fun with it. Then, I die cut all of them using the matching dies and arrange them all on the card. As always, I like to create depth variety on my card. Part of the leaves are glued directly to the card & some with 3D foam.

Finish by stamping the sentiment. I love the size of this card. This is what I consider skinny looking card & it gives the design different feeling to it than if you use standard size card.
