I’m Feeling…

Inspired. I have been stepping outside my comfort zone (coloring with Copics) and dabbling with Distress Inks, embossing paste, and stencils and incorporating these things into my designs.

I’m Wishing…

that summer would not end.  I love letting the kids play outside until 8:00 at night, eating dinner on the back deck, and grilling EVERYTHING.  I dread winters here in the Boston area.

I’m Loving…

Sequins!  They are my new favorite embellishment!

I’m Creating…

more of what I want to and when I when I want to.  I was addicted to being on design teams for a bit there and nearly drove myself right off the crafty cliff with all the deadlines.  Having a balance of crafty life and “real” life is very important!

I loved your video….I am obsessed with Copics since I’m not a natural talent…love that you can correct errors with the colorless blender. Anyway, loved the use of pencils. One question….was the stump dry? From the “sound” of it, I’m guessing it was a dry stump. I have some of these type pencils and will definitely try your technique. Thank you so much for the trips….your image was fab.

Great….thanks for the reply. Your shading just made the image come to life and I loved the effect. Would never have thought to do what you did. Love learning new techniques, especially when I already have the supplies on hand….grin.
