Our lovable bear is geared up for winter! This delightful collection from Stephany Zerbe features our adorable bear in two poses along with a variety of wintertime images and sentiments. Dress and accessorize your bear with a scarf, sweater, winter hat, candy cane, gifts, and more. This set offers loads of winter scene building options.
This stamp set can be used alone or together with the perfectly coordinating SugarCut – Hey Winter die set (sold separately).
The Falling Snow stencil is perfect for all of your winter wonderland card making occasions.
The Geo Snowflake stencil features beautifully a geographic snowflake pattern.
This sweet bear has become a favorite of mine. I adore playing dress up with him. The banding to create a sweater for him to wear is just the most EXTRA thing ever and it makes my heart so happy!! And my favorite feature of all…all of the accessory images in Hey Summer and Hey Winter are interchangeable – providing you with limitless design options for ANY occasion. What is there not to love about that?!?!
The accessory images in this set are so versatile I had a hard time choosing what theme I wanted to go with, but since Christmas music was playing in my studio I went with a Holiday themed occasion. I always see this bear as a polar bear…or maybe I’m just being lazy with my coloring? Who knows! He’s adorable and that’s all that matters.
I started by stamping the Hey Winter bear image and then masking his arms and lower body so that I could stamp a stack of gift packages for him to hold. I then colored all of the Hey Winter images with Copics and cut them with their coordinating, Hey Winter SugarCut dies. I absolutely adore those TREES!! So cute!
Next I set about creating my winter scene. I dry embossed the Falling Snow Stencil onto a blue card panel to create texture within my design. But I just couldn’t resist making it sparkle, so I placed the Falling Snow Stencil down again and spread Tonic Nuvo Clear Glimmer Paste. After the paste dried, I layered the background onto a white scalloped panel and added a stitched snow drift, both created with my favorite die – the SugarCut Card Front Element Builder.
I needed even MORE sparkle so I chose red glittered cardstock and the new SugarCut – Joy word die for my greeting – (enjoy the early peek). The Joy word SugarCut die was cut several times, stacked and glued together (with the glitter cardstock on top) to create a chipboard type of element for my card. The Hey Winter sentiment was heat embossed in white and layered on top.
