Hey SugarPeeps!
Stephanie with you today to share some inspiration with the latest release in store at SugarPea Designs, woot woot!
Fall season is definitely one of the most inspiring themes in cardmaking, in my opinion. Everything is colorful and so vibrant! So for today’s card, I was inspired to create a sunset with the Torn Strips stencil on a piece of cardstock that was previously diecut with the Card Front Element Builder III.
After blending Dusty Concord, Speckled Egg and Spiced Marmalade together, I removed the Torn Strips stencil and added a purple diecut using the SugarCut-Birch Forest.
Next, I diecut the two layers of the SugarCut-Thanks Word With Shadow; the background in white, and the letters in purple, for more contrast. Everything was popped up using foam tape, to add a little more dimension.
I completed the project with a few crystal drops (that picked on the ink to get a matching effect) and that was it! Easy Peasy!
I’ll be back next week with more Fall inspiration, stay tuned! 🙂
