YOU’RE MY TYPE
This nostalgic typewriter themed stamp set is sure to *click*, *clack* and *ding* it’s way into your heart when you compose vintage greetings for every “type” of occasion. The large and versatile selection of sentiments makes this set an essential addition to your stamp collection for everything from Christmas projects to everyday greetings.
My love for all things office supplies fully extends to office machinery, with my favorite being the typewriter. My fascination with typewriters and typing goes back to as far as I can remember. I vividly remember taking typing class (on an actual typewriter, mind you) in high school. I loved it. And I have loved typing ever since. Seriously. So today’s introductions have me feeling very nostalgic.
To begin, I chose my favorite color combo of teal blue and white. Next, I ran all of the SugarCut – Just My Type through my machine and then got to work stamping the repetitive sentiment background onto the scalloped panels cut using the SugarCut – Card Front Element Builder dies.
I chose the SugarCut – Hello word die for my main greeting and then set about assembling my typewriters. It was so much fun arranging all of the different layers and elements to create these sweet typewriters.
And I saved my favorite part for last…sliding the tiny stamped typing paper into the typewriter. **Squeal** That tiny paper holder bar and the cut slit where you slide the typing paper into the typewriter is such an exceptional little detail!! I used foam squares to create dimension and then added hot pink glittery hearts cut from the SugarCut – Just My Type die set for a pop of color.

April 24, 2019 at 7:27 amFun! Being able to touch type has proved very benificial in my job as a translator. I only wish I had heeded my mother’s advice to learn it BEFORE going to university. That would have made typing out my essays on my second-hand typewriter so much easier and quicker…

April 24, 2019 at 11:52 amAwesome set! I have a typewriter set, but it doesn’t have many sayings with it, nor the paper in the typewriter. So I really love that this set has both. AND a coordinating die, too. Fabulous!
