Grateful

Hi everyone!  This is Jennifer Timko with a quick and happy card to share.  Since I’m new to the team, you may not know that I love clean cards!  But while the clean lines appeal to me, I try to find something in each one that creates a bit of interest to make it special.  One of the things I’m finding lately is that I’m drawn to happy rainbow colors.  That was my inspiration for today.

I started with the Large Striped CoverPlate SugarCut Die and cut out some Bristol Smooth Paper with it.  I kept all of the negative pieces and inked them up using Distress Inks in a rainbow of colors.  Then I attached the white positive piece to a card base and adhered the inked pieces into the corresponding places.  I used the Grateful Word SugarCut Die the same way and inked it using Distress Ink too.  Finally I followed the same procedure with the Butterfly Die that is part of this month’s thank you for shopping with an order over $60.  I love mailing in envelopes that go with a card so I have added a Key Lime Envelope in the background.  Cards like this are easy to make in bulk and are perfect for brightening someone’s day.  I hope you are inspired to go make some!  Everyone can use some happy rainbows right now!  Thank you for stopping in today!
