We promise that each day will be full of inspiration, and as always, you’ll have a shot at winning one of our FIVE GIVEAWAYS! All you need to do is leave a comment for your chance to win!
And you don’t want to miss all of the fun we are having on Periscope (download the app from iTunes) and Instagram. We are doing EXCLUSIVE giveaways you will only find there, so be sure to follow us and ask your friends to follow us for even more chances to win some SPD goodies.
Now, before we get started with introducing new stamping goodness, we have an introduction that we are thrilled to be making. The extremely talented, Becky Pearce will be joining the SPD team as an illustrator and designer. We know that you will fall in love with her Simply Sweet illustrations and sentiments. We will be debuting a new stamp set from her later this week.
We asked Becky to tell us a little about herself.
Hello There! My name is Becky. I live in beautiful Cave Creek, Arizona. I have Finance and Accounting degree’s from Arizona State University (ASU). I have a mini Maltese dog named Lily who is the light of my life; she’s teeny tiny weighing under 4 pounds. I discovered card making just a few years ago and was hooked! I am incredibly honored and grateful for the opportunity to design illustrated and sentiment stamp sets and dies for SugarPea Designs. I am thrilled to also be joining the Design Team. Being apart of SugarPea has been a dream come true and of course it’s so sweet! What more could a girl ask for? I hope you will check out the new releases during Sweet Peeks and look out for the stamps and dies that I’ve designed exclusively for SugarPea…hopefully you will find they’re too sweet to resist! Please feel free to stop by my blog at www.CardsByBecky.blogspot.com.
Today, We’re introducing FIVE new products.

This charming border die also has no cutting lines along the bottom edge – giving you the ability to cut this farmscape design to any desired width size.
Our, Best of Cluck stamp set is everything it’s cracked up to be and more! Featuring two happy hens, their chicks and hen house. Best of Cluck is a companion and coordinating stamp set to Barn To Be Wild.

I know I say it all the time, but this may be my favorite release ever. If I were stuck on a deserted island and could only have 1 stamp set to play with forever…this would be the one. There are so many adorable images and puny sentiments I would never be bored with this set.
For my card I started out by creating a sweet farm scene background with the new SugarCuts – FarmScape die and then sponged ink on white cardstock to create a sunset.
The tiny circles that are the negative space in the windmill made for perfectly sized little apples for my tree!! I colored all of the images with Copics and then cut them with the coordinating SugarCuts – Barn To Be Wild die set.
And the coordinating, Best of Cluck stamp set is just as equally fun to play with.
I LOVE the chicken wire paper from the Countryside Charm paper pad. I cut it with the SugarCuts – Heart Journal Card die to create a panel for my image. I then heat embossed my favorite sentiment in white onto one of the SugarCuts – Stitched Flags and then perched one of the hen images at the end. And the best part…Best of Cluck is FREE when you purchase $60 or more from August 26th – October 1st.*

Their patience in the ways my sister and I *helped* with chores…unbelievable! And my grandmother’s baking…decadent delights, galore! The best were her ‘cupcake’ tarts: tart shells, filled with cupcake batter, into which she put a dollop of homemade jam and, once baked, iced! Scrumptious! My favourite farm foods: carrots and tomatoes. Farm animal: calves! They are just sooooo darling! Thank you for the trip down memory lane….
