Today, We’re excited to be sharing two new products that are part of our SugarPlum Collection illustrated by Chaitali Narla.

SugarCuts – Funky Wreath Spring is the coordinating die to our Funky Wreath – Spring Addition stamp set. Paired together you’ll create quick, easy and professional looking packaging and accents.
I love the simplicity of stamping on kraft cardstock. I started by die cutting my card front with the SugarCuts – Zig Zag Stitched Rectangles. I then stamped the Funky Wreaths All Seasons twig wreath onto the card front along with a few leafs and then added a pop of white with the berry image. I love the layered roses in the Spring Addition stamp set and knew that those were the flowers that I wanted to use for this simple wreath. I love how nicely the light and darker pink inks stamped on the kraft cardstock. I added 3 sprigs of greenery around the roses and stamped my sentiment in the same dark pink ink on a SugarCuts – Stitched Flag. All of the flowers and greenery were then die cut with the coordinating SugarCuts die. I cut the roses once more with SugarPuff foam to add dimension. A few Crystal sequins were added to give a hint of sparkle.

I love that it works so well on its own, with the coordinating SugarCuts and also with the Funky Wreath…adore the versatility! It’s hard to say what my favourite flower is….it would be a toss up between a simple yet beautiful daisy and the stunning hydrangea….I adore the beautiful variety of colours that the hydrangea comes in and I love the large clusters of small delicate flowers that make up the large luscious clusters.

I think my favorite flowers change with the seasons. I an loving tulips right now, I love morning glories later in the stemmed, and nothing beats a big wispy cluster of cut flowers from the florist. I guess I just love them all!

April 12, 2016 at 12:45 pmA wonderful addition to your Funky Wreath set (I sense a ‘series’ unfolding here *grin*), with DT showcases that have planted a smile all over my face. My favourite flower: pansies! I love their vibrant colours, especially those with deep purple paired with yellow. Why? They spark memories of my grandmother’s flower garden, that was a cascade of glorious colour, stemming from poppies, peonies, roses, snapdragons, sweet peas and, of course, pansies. She had a vegetable garden, too…a most incredibly Grandma with the greenest thumb of anyone I’ve ever known! Thank you for the fabulous giveaway opportunity! Where I live, we see flowers for but a short period of time; bringing them to ‘life’ on paper makes me incredibly happy…

April 14, 2016 at 7:32 amI am partial to African Violets and Zinnias. My grandma used to raise African Violets in her upstairs windows and they would just bloom like crazy. She had the greenest thumb I know. I try and I can barely keep one alive much less blooming. As for Zinnias, they are my favorite annual. I have some seeds starting right now in my kitchen.
