Good Morning! Ardyth here with another Light Bulb Moment!
Today, I’m playing along with our latest Mix it Up Challenge with this adorable card. I used both the sketch and the photo as my inspiration:
You may have noticed that SugarPea’s family of adorable critters is growing! I teamed up Chunky Monkey with our Indian Summer raccoon and one of the Stamptember Koalaty Time koalas for a sweet birthday card. I restamped the monkey’s balloon since the raccoon didn’t have one.
I have a confession – sketch challenges are not always my favourite. I prefer photo or inspiration challenges, where I get a ‘feel’ from the elements of the inspiration – the colours, the style. This time, I decided to really focus on the sketch. I did some masking, blending and colouring to include all the elements from the sketch. I chose my colours based on the photo.
