Light Bulb Moments

This week, I’m sharing tips for making this fun card using three different SugarPea stamp sets.

Wanderlust is the set that brought me to SugarPea a few years ago. Specifically, it was the airplane stamp. My son (and daughter, now) both have a strong interest in aviation, so I’m always on the look out for a good plane stamp. This one is clean and graphic and so cool. But Wanderlust is filled with other great adventure type stamps, including this scooter.

I’ve known for a long time that this scooter needed a rider. Yesterday I pulled out all my SugarPea ‘critter’ sets to see what would work best. This adorable dino was perfectly positioned (and facing the right way! lol!) and I love the contrast of the old and modern! A little masking and voila, the scooter has a driver!

To give the scooter some movement, I stamped it to the left side of my panel and added the wind stamp from Whatever the Weather.
