SUGARCUT POCKET TAG CHRISTMAS CHARACTERS
Christmas Characters is a 21 piece die set that includes everything you need to create a snowman, reindeer, elf, penguin, and Santa. These 5 fun and festive Christmas characters are perfect for card making or paired together with our SugarCut – Floral Pocket Tag die set (sold separately) for adorable holiday gift cards!
Gift cards can feel a little impersonal to give but when you have so much to do during the Holidays they can be a real life saver. But just because they’re convenient doesn’t mean that I want to slack off when it comes to presentation. After all, when it comes to gift packaging, it’s what’s on the outside that counts.
For my samples today, I’ve chosen to work with felt. I love the feel and texture of 100% wool felt – and it cuts beautifully when used with dies.
For my first gift card, I chose warm rich tones – perfect for fall birthdays. This one is actually going to my sister. The gorgeous flowers in the SugarCut – Floral Pocket Tag die set are so much fun to work with. Each flower, leaf, and sprig mix and match together so beautifully. After laying out my arrangement, I gently lifted each piece to add glue and then glued it all into place on the tag. I added a Enjoy greeting cut from felt from the SugarCut – Enjoy Tag set.
Next, I went about creating FIVE felt gift tags with all of the adorable Pocket Tag Christmas Characters…they are the cutest!!
To begin, I cut out all of the pieces that I would need to create the tags with the SugarCut – Floral Pocket Tag and then cut out all of the pieces that I would need to create the Christmas Characters using the SugarCut – Pocket Tag Christmas Characters.
Assembly was easy – I arranged how I wanted everything to look and then simply glued it all into place. These are going to come in so handy this gift giving season and were so much fun to create.
